We built a unique Sound-Down pad into the lid of each 15-Minute Fun & DoneSeries game to make game play faster by reducing roll time and also to contain the dice and eliminate them from bouncing off the playing surface and onto the floor. This keeps the action moving and minimizes delays. Fast. Focused. Family-friendly.
Lower the Volume, Not the Vibe!
The SoundDown pad in the lid also serves to dampen dice noise. The specially engineered sound-dampening substrate reduces the noise of rolling dice by up to 20 decibels—taking the sound level down 25%(on average) from what is comparable to the roar of a vacuum cleaner to the volume of a calm conversation. This makes the games perfect for quieter settings like restaurants or game nights where you want fun without the frenzy.
The SoundDown pad does double duty—dampening the noise and slowing the roll. On average dice roll takes approximately 3 seconds (if the dice stay on the table), the SoundDown pad brings them to a soft stop in about half the time. Quieter rolls, faster turns, and more fun.
